WHAT 'THE CNSU?
The National Council of University Students (CNSU) is a consultative body representing the students, graduate and doctoral students who give opinions and proposals to the minister of education and research universities and is consulted on all major issues about the university and research in Italy. In particular, it is heard on the proposed reorganization of the university system, on the education systems of university courses, projects and guidance for student mobility, the criteria for the allocation and use of the fund so ordinary. Within one year of taking office shall rule on the condition of students and the Minister may ask questions about facts or events of national importance on teaching and student condition. The
CNSU also elect from among its members, eight representatives in the National University Council (CUN). The CUN is the representative body of the entire university system to act as a coordination and consultation. The
CNSU consists of twenty-eight members elected by students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate degree, by a member elected by members to specialized courses and a member elected by enrolled in a PhD. The members are appointed by the Minister, hold office for two years and may be reelected. The CNSU elects its own members a Chairman and three members that make up the Bureau.
CNSU is important to know the plays, despite internal dysfunctions that impede the efficient operation, a strong role for the defense of rights, all too often broken, university students.
Young Democrats For these reasons we consider very important part in the elections of 12 and 13 May and we invite you to give your preference to list only the center-left "Udu - list on the left - Listings democratic."
For the election of 28 members of CNSU the universities are grouped on a regional basis in four districts, corresponding to colleges.
Tuscany is in the third district, along with Lazio, Umbria and Abruzzo.
How Young Democrats will support the candidacy of Tuscany Flavio Zappacosta, a member of the student list of Pisa "left", as we believe that a representation "Tuscany" within the CNSU is a great opportunity to give voice to all the Tuscan university and to provide a magnifying glass on their problems.
For these reasons we ask you to support our candidate Flavio, the sole candidate of Tuscany, and who can vote, if you want to vote in all the universities of our constituency
Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio and Abruzzo.
